1 University Avenue allows all professionals (graphic designers, language experts, programmers, etc) to create their virtual universities and teach what they know best.
The app also allows students to find virtual universities and programs that meet their learning goals, and to start learning through an immersive online experience.
For instructors:
- Create your virtual university, then add your programs and courses
- Schedule lectures right from your iPad
- Upload videos from your iPad and assign them to your lectures
- Stream your lectures from your desktop or laptop, and have your students watch live on their iPad
- Publish your lectures to make them available on-demand
- Answer questions from your students
For students:
- Use the Learning Center to browse for universities in several categories
- Enroll in the university that meets your learning needs
- Choose your courses
- Watch lectures live or on-demand
- Ask questions on a lecture, or answer questions from other students

In-App purchases:
- The free version of the app provides access to basic features: creating virtual universities, enrolling at a university, watching lectures, etc
- The Classroom Standard Plan, available for In-App purchase, provides access to the Video Room feature, which allows an instructor to upload videos from an iPad and assign them to lectures, programs and courses
- The Classroom Premium Plan, available for In-App purchase, provides access to the Video Room, and to analytics on students
- Both Standard and Premium plans will automatically renew every month for $39.99 and $49.99, respectively, unless automatic renewal is turned off in Settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payments are charged to your iTunes account at the confirmation of the purchase
